As a cost effective replacement or a precautionary replacement to avoid the potential failure we produce this silicone reinforced hose. The 225/210 hp 1.8T engines as fitted in the MK1 Audi TT, Seat Leon Cupra R and Audi S3 have a organic rubber hose on the intake manifold that feeds the brake vacuum system. This hose is prone to failure leading not only to a loss of engine power but also brake efficiency. The OEM replacement is only available with the hard pipes included, which incurs considerable unnecessary expense.  The Forge silicone hoses in this kit have been designed to include an expensive inner liner of modified silicone known as Fluorosilicone. This means the hoses are suitable to be used with  either modern long-life coolants, Organic Acid Technology coolants (O.A.T.) or air containing oil mist.
